I'm Alicia Klepfer, and Klepfer Carbon Integrity is my independent consulting practice. I've spent roughly a decade in the voluntary and compliance carbon markets – from agricultural soil carbon and oil & gas methane reductions to enteric methane and biochar carbon removal.

Most of that time has gone into the gap between what a methodology says on paper and what it actually takes to satisfy it in practice – where the language is unclear, where conservative assumptions are warranted, and where the documentation has to be airtight to survive verification.

I've been on both sides of it. At times I've developed projects myself, holding the registry account and carrying them through to credit issuance. At others I've built the tools and capacity that help other developers do the same. So I know where projects tend to break.

I name the problem, even when the requirements are ambiguous or the right reading isn't obvious, and then find the lowest-risk path through it. A carbon credit is only as good as the documentation behind it, and I build mine to survive an audit.
